Muskox Art Products

The image of the muskox is commonly used in Inuit art as a symbol of strength and survival. Stone can be carved to represent a muskox with its thick and textured coat, or the face of a muskox can be incorporated into a collage with other images.

Many years ago, muskox horns and bones were carved to make tools and crafts. Today, artists use the horns and bones to create unique and beautiful carvings. As muskox are not harvested solely for these items, only a limited number are available. These exquisite pieces are usually accompanied by a price that reflects their rarity.
